Michigan Golf Live (mgl) - the state's leading golf radio program -- will broadcast live from the Arthur Hills masterpiece Red Hawk Golf Club in East Tawas this Saturday morning 8:00—10:00.

Legendary course architect Arthur Hills highlights the list of guests for the program. Hills has designed many spectacular courses around the world, including Red Hawk, which Golf Digest rated #66 among the Top 100 Public Courses this year.

"Red Hawk is one of the truly special courses in our state,” says MGL Executive Producer Bill Hobson. “Combining the beauty of the 'Sunrise Side' with the expert eye of Art Hills, Red Hawk is one of the reasons our state is such a bonanza for quality golf.

The MGL audience will also head "across the pond" for live updates from the Open Championship at St. Andrews. The season's third major packs a special emotional punch with a farewell to Jack Nicklaus.

The MGL-TV crew will also be on hand, producing a 30-minute special on Red Hawk. That program will air in the coming weeks on Comcast Local Sports as well as online at www.mgltv.com.

MGL radio is carried on 11 stations, covering every major metropolitan market in the state. The show airs from 8-10 a.m. every Saturday for 26 weeks - April through September - and is on location every week from fablulous destinations across the state and around the nation.
