Golf Live (mgl) - the state's leading golf radio program -- shares
the secrets of the game's biggest hitters during the live broadcast
from The
Fortress in Frankenmuth, Saturday morning from 8 to 10 a.m.
Headlining the guest lineup is reigning US Long Drive Champion David
Mobley, as well as long drive authority Gerry James.
“It’s the dream of ever weekend amateur to hit the long
bomb that seems to stay in the air forever,” says MGL Executive
Producer Bill Hobson.
“While we all know that short game prowess plays a major role
in low scoring, there's no denying the appeal of the long ball.
That's why drivers cost $500 -- we want to hit it a mile, and the
guests joining us Saturday have learned how to do it.”
Mobley
will be in mid-Michigan on Saturday, appearing at King Par Super
Store in Flushing. Gerry James has competed with great success in
numerous long drive competitions and serves as a trainer for the
top competitors.
MGL radio is carried on 11 stations,
covering every major metropolitan market in the state. The show
airs from 8-10 a.m. every Saturday for 26 weeks - April through
