Golf Live (mgl) - the state's leading golf radio program -- broadcasts
live from Eagle
Eye Golf Club at Hawk Hollow Golf Properties in Bath, Saturday
morning from 8 to 10 a.m.
Among the scheduled topics is an examination of a very troubling
trend across America—golf club theft.
“It’s
a story that truly hits home for the MGL staff,” says MGL
Executive Producer Bill Hobson.
“This winter, Jon Bloom
had his clubs and bag taken from his car – while it was parked
in his garage. He was even home at the time! We want to make golfers
aware of the potential danger that their sizable equipment investment
may be the target of an organized ring of club thieves. No one wants
to come out of the pro shop or their home to discover someone has
stolen their sticks.”
In addition to the club theft discussion, MGL will visit with officials
from the Michigan PGA. The new headquarters for the PGA is located
at Eagle Eye. MGL will also offer a special Mother’s Day contest
where listeners will be able to win a special day of golf for mom.
MGL radio
is carried on 11 stations, covering
every major metropolitan market in the state. The show airs from
8-10 a.m. every Saturday for 26 weeks - April through September
- and is on location every week from fablulous destinations across
the state and around the nation. Click

week, MGL-TV features the CasaBlanca

is carried three times per week across the state on Comcast Local
Sports -- Saturdays at
11 a.m., Mondays at 1:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. and
call also be viewed online on the MGL-TV
