Michigan
Golf Live (mgl) - the state's leading golf radio program --broadcasts
from Crystal
Mountain, site of the 2005 Michigan PGA Women’s Open this
Saturday morning from 8:00—10:00.
With a $40,000 purse, the Michigan PGA Women’s Open is one
of the largest women’s open events in the nation. It currently
attracts close to 70 female golfers from all over the country, including
former LPGA Tour Player and Michigan native, Elaine Crosby, as well
as many up-and-coming LPGA and Futures Tour players and collegiate
hot shots.
MGL listeners will also get a preview of the 2005
Buick Open, coming to Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc next week.
Tiger Woods, John Daly, Vijay Singh and a host of top players from
the PGA Tour will be on hand for the Buick. New Warwick Hills Professional
Doug Brody will make his first MGL appearance to help set the scene
for the tournament.
Buick
Open tickets will also be up for grabs during the weekly BD’s
Mongolian BBQ Trivia Challenge.
MGL radio is carried on 11 stations,
covering every major metropolitan market in the state. The show
airs from 8-10 a.m. every Saturday for 26 weeks - April through
September - and is on location every week from fablulous destinations
across the state and around the nation. Click

This week, MGL-TV presents a most unique special—the EXTREME
GOLF MAKEOVER.
In
this 30-minute special, unsuspecting golfers are “ambushed”
by the MGL cameras while practicing at King Par Golf Super Store
in Flushing. Each winner receives: 2 new outfits from Ashworth Apparel,
new clubs from King Par, and golf lessons from GolfTec. It’s
a prize package worth nearly $2,000! Don’t miss this unique
approach to “surprise” television!
MGL-TV is carried four times per week across the state on Comcast
Local Sports -- Saturdays at 11 a.m.; Sundays at 10 a.m.; Mondays
at 1:30 p.m.; and Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. and can also be viewed
online on the MGL-TV page.
Hosted by Hobson,
Jon Bloom, and Todd Arner, Michigan Golf Live
is a production of Hobson
Media Enterprises, and is presented by the 2005
Buick Open and King
Par Golf.
