Golf Live (mgl) - the state's leading golf radio program -- pays
special tribute to the brave men and women serving our country in
the Armed Forces, during the live MGL broadcast from Black
Lake Golf Club in Onaway this Saturday morning.
Headlining
the guest lineup is PGA Tour veteran Frank
Lickliter, who has traveled overseas to visit and entertain
troops as well as spearheading a special fundraiser for the Wounded
Warrior project.
“Not only are we broadcasting from a marvelous course where
‘Made In America’ has special meaning, but the chance
to pay tribute to our troops makes for a very exciting program,”
says MGL Executive Producer Bill
Hobson. “Any time we are able to involve the
world of golf with something as crucial as the freedom of our country,
we’re proud to so."
MGL will recap the recently completed Michigan PGA competition and
also visit with the winner of the 94th Michigan Amateur championship,
Christian Vozza. The University of Michigan senior captured the
prestigious title during last week’s competition.
MGL radio is carried on 11 stations,
covering every major metropolitan market in the state. The show
airs from 8-10 a.m. every Saturday for 26 weeks - April through
September - and is on location every week from fablulous destinations

a prize package worth nearly $2,000! Don’t miss this unique
approach to “surprise” television!
