broadcast live from the 94th Michigan Amateur Championship being
held this week at Muskegon Country Club.
“This is one of the biggest golf events in our state,”
says MGL Executive Producer Bill
Hobson. “The list of past Michigan Am champions
is most impressive, and for the second week in a row golf fans get
to see how today’s top players tackle a challenging Donald
Ross course."
Special guests during the MGL visit to Muskegon will include Dr.
Roger Ostrander. “Dr. O” served as a rules official
at last week’s US Open and will share his insights about that
thrilling championship as well as the Michigan Am.
MGL will also take listeners on a guided tour of Bay
Valley Hotel & Resort. Designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1973,
Bay Valley is one of the state’s most inviting destinations
