Michigan
Golf Live (MGL) - the state's leading golf radio program - will
conclude the show's fifth season with a live broadcast from Shepherd's
Hollow Golf Club in Clarkston this Saturday, Sept. 25th. Rounding out the
season in style, MGL has assembled a powerful lineup of interviews and special
guests.
Scheduled
for Saturday's program: | | | A
comprehensive look back at the Ryder Cup matches including extended interviews
with US Captain Hal Sutton and Team Member Chris DiMarco. | | | Exclusive
interview with Chuck Christie, the golf coach at Birmingham Brother Rice.
Christie met Michael Jordan early in the week and was immediately invited
to join MJ, Ahmad Rashad, Chris Chelios, and several other celebrity
guests as they played 27 holes per day leading up to the Ryder Cup. Chuck's amazing-but-true
story will be shared on MGL. | | | A
special listener contest to describe your "best golf moment of the season." Whether
it was a personal playing experience or perhaps something observed, the best listener
memory will be rewarded with a package of Ryder Cup merchandise and 2 tickets
to the 2005 Buick Open. | "It's
hard to believe that the season is already winding down," says MGL Executive Producer
Bill Hobson. "This 5th anniversary for MGL has been
a whirlwind of major events like the Buick Open and Ryder Cup, broadcasting from
the best courses and resorts in the state, and celebrating the game with our listeners.
We're working hard to make Saturday a very special finale... better have your
Kleenex handy!"
MGL
is carried live Saturday mornings from 8-10 a.m. on 11 radio stations throughout
the state. Hosted
by Bill Hobson,
Jon Bloom, and Todd Arner,
Michigan Golf Live is a production of Hobson
Media Enterprises, and is presented by title sponsors Nike
