Michigan Golf Live
(MGL) - the state's leading golf radio program - celebrates
the Olympic spirit this week by broadcasting live from the Crossroads
Farm Charity Golf Marathon at The
Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, MI.
In addition to the fun of the
marathon (MGL's Bill Hobson will be playing in the
event) listeners will also enjoy: CBS Golf Commentator Peter Oosterhuis
with his thoughts on the Ryder Cup; PGA Tour Player Arron
Oberholser sharing his Whistling Straights experience (13th place finish);
Secrets of hitting the long ball with the author of "In Search of the Perfect
Golf Swing"; An inside look at Arnold Palmer's return visit to the Country Club
of Detroit... and gallery ticket giveaways!
"I'm excited about this week's
program, and already know the the two hours will disappear quickly," says MGL
Executive Producer Bill Hobson. "Our audience will
get a feel for the uniqueness of a golf marathon, hear insight from the Tour that
only MGL and its guests can provide, and learn of a fabulous ministry to troubled
teens when we talk about Crossroads Farm. What other show has given away Ryder
Cup tickets and now a chance to see The King up close?"
MGL is carried live Saturday mornings from 8-10 a.m. on 11 radio stations throughout
the state. Hosted
by Bill Hobson,
Jon Bloom, and Todd Arner,
Michigan Golf Live is a production of Hobson
Media Enterprises, and is presented by title sponsors Nike
Golf and the 2004
Buick Open.
