MGL RADIO – 2012 marks the 13th season of MGL
Radio, and the growth of our show continues! Covering every major media
market in the state with a wonderful radio affiliate family reaching every
major market in the state with MGL’s Saturday morning broadcasts.
For
22 weeks (April through August), MGL Radio entertains, informs, challenges,
and rewards diehard golfers with exclusive interviews featuring PGA Tour
stars, special contests with fantastic prizes, and live call-ins from every
market in the state. MGL Radio celebrates the game in an upbeat, lively
format that has proven to be quite popular.
MGL-TV – 2012 marks the 8th season of MGL-TV, and our 5th year being carried on Fox Sports Net-Detroit. Reaching into more than 3.5 million subscriber homes in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, MGL-TV travels the globe producing 30-minute specials that shine the spotlight on the top golf destinations.
In
addition to the production of the on-air product, each featured destination is
using their episode of MGL-TV as a marketing tool to attract golfers. Through
the use of streaming online video, mass duplication of DVDs, and incorporating
the footage shot during production, MGL-TV featured destinations are finding
years of marketing use from one single program! All MGL-TV shows can been viewed

Thank you for visiting the MGL website. I'm always excited to meet golfers with a true passion for this crazy game and hope to have the chance to say hello in person sometime this season. At MGL, we celebrate the game with exclusive interviews, humor, live call-in contests, and a tour of the state's top destinations each and every week.
There's
little debate that when summer comes, the best place for golf in the nation is
Michigan. At MGL, we're honored to be considered the top golf Radio/TV program
helping to spread the word about these wonderful destinations.
Michigan Golf Live was created in 1999 by Bill Hobson and has continue to grow ever since. With the addition of a weekly 30-minute TV program in 2005, MGL helps shine the spotlight on great places to play on a weekly basis. With 10 radio affiliates broadcasting MGL Radio each Saturday, and 3.5 million homes receiving MGL-TV on Fox Sports Net Detroit 3 times each week, no other golf program reaches the game's core audience like MGL.
